BOARDGAMES & BREAKDOWNS BRAND IDENTITY

The team behind Boardgames & Breakdowns needed a brand identity to coincide with the launch of their social content platform.

The mission: To build build a bridge between the TTRPG/gaming communities and the music industry fanatics.

The challenge

As lifelong gamers and music enthusiasts, we recognized that the two worlds had a lot in common - a shared appreciation for creativity, a passion for bringing people together, and a universal language that transcends barriers.

Yet, while these two core groups share many similarities, currently existing brands still leaned heavily into one audience group or the other. Brands that leaned towards gaming always felt outdated or overworked, while brands that leaned towards music felt heavily molded around alternative grunge.

The SOLUTION

Build a welcoming, inclusive brand where gamers, musicians, and everyone in-between could come together to celebrate their diverse interests by crafting something familiar yet stunningly refreshing and modern.
